Edwardian Wedgwood "Erato" Navette Cameo Ring Size:3.5 7cm (including bail)DATE: Edwardian, 1909 An elegant Wedgwood cameo ring dating from the Edwardian period. It depicts Erato, one of the nine Greek Muses. Erato was the muse of love poetry, and is often depicted playing the lyre, or holding one of Cupid's golden arrows. The navette shaped cameo is mounted in a rose gold ring mount with split shoulders and clear hallmarks dating it to the year 1909.
